Nursing

The AIIMS BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2026 for the (Hons) course is scheduled for June 27, 2026. The registration process is currently active and follows the PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) system, which requires both basic and final registration. 

 

Key Exam Dates for 2026

Eligibility Criteria

• BSc Nursing (Hons):
  • Gender: Open to Female candidates only.
  • Academic: Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Minimum Marks: 55% aggregate for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST categories.
  • Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
• BSc Nursing (Post-Basic):
  • Academic: Class 12 pass + Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
  • Registration: Must be a registered nurse and midwife with any State Nursing Council.
  • Gender: Open to both male and female candidates. 

     

Exam Pattern & Marking

• Mode: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes) for Hons; 90 minutes for Post-Basic.
• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Hons Sections: Physics (30), Chemistry (30), Biology (30), and General Knowledge (10) for a total of 100 marks.
• Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers and -1/3 for incorrect ones. 

   

Application Fees

• General/OBC: ₹2,000.
• SC/ST/EWS: ₹1,600.
• PWBD: Exempted.
