BBA LLB is an integrated five-year undergraduate dual-degree program that combines a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB).   • Duration: 5 years, divided into 10 semesters.
  • Course Fees: Ranges from ₹65,000 to over ₹33.75 lakh for the full program, depending on whether the institution is public or private.
  • Starting Salaries: Typically ranges from ₹3 to ₹10 LPA, though specialized corporate roles can command much higher compensation.
  • Regulatory Body: All professional law programs in India must be approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI)

     

Eligibility & Admission

Admission usually requires a mix of academic performance and standardized testing: 

  • Educational Requirement: Completion of 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts).
  • Minimum Marks: Generally requires a 45–50% aggregate in Class 12, with some top private universities requiring up to 60%.
  • Entrance Exams:
    • CLAT (Common Law Admission Test): The primary exam for admission to 24 National Law Universities (NLUs).
    • LSAT-India: Accepted by many private law schools.
    • Other Exams: AILET (for NLU Delhi), SLAT (for Symbiosis), CUET, and state-level exams like MHCET Law. 

       

Curriculum & Subjects

The curriculum is interdisciplinary, layering management theory alongside core and specialized law papers. 

 

  • Management Subjects: Principles of Management, Financial Accounting, Micro/Macroeconomics, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management.
  • Core Law Subjects: Constitutional Law, Law of Contracts, Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Family Law, and Jurisprudence.
  • Specializations: Often available in the final years, including Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Taxation Law, Cyber Law, and International Trade Law.
  • Practical Training: Mandatory internships, moot court sessions (mock trials), and legal drafting workshops are core to the program.
